Who We Are
Motown Sound & Lighting is a Detroit-based event production company founded by engineers and musicians who know what good sound and great lighting actually feel like. We didn't get into this business by accident — we got into it because we've been on both sides of the stage and know what it takes to make an event run right.
We work weddings, corporate events, conferences, intimate gatherings, gender reveals, bridal showers, concerts, and everything in between. Indoors, outdoors, small rooms, large stages — we bring the same attention to detail to every setup.
We're based in Detroit and travel to surrounding states. Every event gets a proper consultation before we show up with a single cable.
